The Roots Project is an interactive performance installation exploring roots of culture. The aim of the project is to bring the many influences of Maltese culture to the surface in a way that enlightens and serves as a reminder that we are all linked across boarders and nationalities. Our roots bind us together and make up our identity in all its complexity. The project puts culture in the service of removing prejudice.
The installation will take place at the Quadrangle, University of Malta, Msida Campus, which, through dance, imagery and music, will explore the roots of Malta.
Audiences are invited to join the exploration on 18 May between 12:00 to 14:00.
