A seminar entitled 'The role of Sports in Promoting Social Cohesion' will be held on Wednesday 25 May between 13:00 and 14:30 at the Main Lecture Hall of the Institute for PE and Sport. The speaker of the seminar is Grant Williams – Head of Community and International Development Australian Football League (AFL).

Mr Grant Williams will discuss how AFL has engaged indigenous, refugee and disadvantaged communities in Australia and internationally to great success. The talk will also deal with the social impact of sport.
