The Conference 'Community based tourism: myth or reality?' will be held on Friday 16 December, at the Mosta Town Hall Malta. The Conference is organised by the Tourism Society in association with the Institute for Tourism, Travel and Culture.

The Conference intends to investigate the main aspects that characterise Community Based Tourism (CBT), by analysing the points of weakness and strength of this visitor experience, in order to understand the real potential that projects linked to this issue can have in the future scenario of the local tourism development on the island.
