The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) 11th Brunel International Lecture entitled 'From Risk to Resilience: Practice Made Perfect?' will be held on Thursday 15 December 2016, at the Valletta Campus, University of Malta.
This prestigious event, being held for the first time outside the UK, is organised in Malta by the Malta Group of Professional Engineering Institutions, representing the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. The lecture is organised in collaboration with the Planning Authority, the University of Malta and the Building Industry Consultative Council of the Government of Malta.
The 90-minute lecture will provide attendees with a unique and region-specific perspective on emergency management. The Key Speaker is Eelco H. Dykstra, MD, Executive Chairman of Daily Impact Emergency Management (DIEM).
