The Għaqda Studenti tat-Teoloġija (GħST) is currently geared on full-speed with preparations for the yearly Orange Campaign. This event organised by the GħST, is held at the University of Malta Msida Campus, so that funds are raised for children who are at the brink of poverty. The funds are donated to the Uffiċċju Ejjew Għandi, which then distributes the donations to the families whose children are in need of help. The families do not receive the donation in cash but help is always given through food, shelter, education and other basic needs. Last year, more than EUR 3000 were raised during the two-day activity.
This year, the event will be held on 5 and 6 December from 09:00 till 15:00 at the University Quadrangle. There will be freshly squeezed orange juice, a non-alcoholic cocktail, water, food and sweets.
For GħST it would be wonderful if you could visit at the Quadrangle, squash your own orange, say a word and maybe take a photo; however for those, who cannot do so due to various commitments you can send an email to info@ghstmalta.org to place an order. In this way, your order will be delivered to your desk by members of GħST, on the day and the time you wish.
GħST encourages everyone to be part of the future which these kids desperately need.

On behalf of the Executive Committee and of all the children and families benefiting from this event, the GħST President, Jean-Claude Schembri, thanks all those who will be giving some time and money to help who is in need of love and care.
