Brain Awareness Week (BAW), which this year is being held between 12 and 18 March, is a global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. In Malta, BAW is organised by Malta Neuroscience Network Programme of the University of Malta with the support of Malta Chamber of Scientists, ADURIM (Associazione dei Docenti Universitari e Ricercatori Italiani a Malta), Italian Institute of Culture, Italian Embassy, RIDT, Journal Neuroscience Methods – Elsevier, Malta Café Scientifique and CineXjenza.
