The Institute for Toursim, Travel and Culture is organising a seminar on Experiential Tourism. The seminar will be held on Friday 20 April at 17:00 to 19:00. The seminar will be held in Room 154, M.A. Vassalli Conference Centre - Gateway Building (GW), University of Malta Msida Campus.
A Networking session will be held from 16:30 to 16:55.
Experiential Tourism is a form of tourism in which tourists focus on connecting the history, culture and people of the destination being visited as a means of having an immersive experience. Each presentation will offer a different perspective of the tourist experience at different destinations. This will allow the seminar audience to reflect and discuss this global phenomenon which veers towards a form of tourism which caters for a more meaningful engagement with the host community.
