The Centre for Molecular Medicine and Biobanking together with the Department of Physiology and Biochemistry within the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, is hosting the first edition of the University of Malta ALS/MND Summit.
The theme of the first edition will be ‘Genetics of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)’.
Key Speakers include:
- Dr Ruben Cauchi, Lead Researcher at the University of Malta’s ALS/MND Research Lab
- Dr Adrian Pace, Consultant Neurologist at Malta's Gozo General Hospital and Karen Grech Hospital
- Dr Kevin Kenna, Lead Researcher at the UMC Utrecht Brain Centre, The Netherlands

The event will be held virtually via Zoom, and is open to ALS/MND patients, family members, clinicians, medical/biomedical students and all those interested in the topic.
