The Doctoral School would like to invite all UM Academic staff, doctoral researchers and other interested researchers to attend the Annual Doctoral Symposium 2022 which will be held at the Valletta Campus on Wednesday 18 May 2022 at 17:00.
The objective of the Doctoral Symposium is to provide doctoral researchers with the opportunity to present and discuss their research with their peers. This year's keynote address will be delivered by Prof. André Elias Mazawi, Professor and Head of the Department of Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, who will be considering doctoral supervisory relations under adversity.
Following this, fifteen doctoral researchers from different disciplines will present their work in three different parallel sessions. A copy of the Doctoral Symposium Programme is available for download [PDF]. All interested parties are requested to register via the online form by Friday 13 May 2022.
In the meantime, the inspiring keynote speech delivered remotely by Prof. Russell Smith (from the UM's Centre for Entrepreneurship and Business Incubation (CEBI)) during last year's Doctoral Symposium, has been published and is accessible on OAR - UM's institutional repository
