The Department of Translation, Terminology and Interpreting Studies is hosting the first Joseph Eynaud Memorial Lecture on Wednesday, 15 February 2023 at 18:00, Lecture Theatre 2, University Msida Campus.
This public lecture will feature special guest speaker Prof. Jorge DÃaz Cintas, University College London, a well-known global authority in the field of Audiovisual Translation.
The lecture titled New Mediascapes: Crossing borders through Translation will explore recent trends and shifts in the media entertainment industry and the way audiovisual productions travel the world on streaming platforms and other broadcasting networks thanks to the localisation services that we all access daily.
