Prof. Jean Calleja Agius from the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Malta and Action Chair of the GYNOCARE COST Action (CA18117) is organising a conference entitled 'Bridging the gap between Research and Cure in Rare Gynaecological Cancers: Where do we stand?'. The conference will be followed by a management committee meeting and is held in collaboration with the European Network for Gynaecological Rare Cancer research: From Concept to Cure (GYNOCARE).
This conference will be held on 17 and 18 February 2023 at the Università degli Studi della Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli", Naples, Italy. The local organisers are Prof Francesca Pentimalli from the Universita’ LUM Giuseppe Degennaro, Bari and Prof Antonio Giordano, from the Università degli Studi di Siena.
Invited international speakers will share insights on recent developments about rare gynaecological cancers, focusing on:
- Basic and Translational Research: Present and Future
- Clinical trials: Designing Cures
- The difficult diagnosis: from classic method to digital pathology
- Pharma-Biotech: Challenges in the 21st century
