Panel discussion on The Impact of War in Ukraine on Human Rights and Migration as part of the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought. The panel discussion will take place on Friday 3 March 2023 from 10:30 - 12:00 (Noon) in Lecture Theatre 2 (Lecture Centre) at the University of Malta, preceded by a short 5 minute video about the Sakharov Prize, and a reception thereafter.
It will feature as speakers Yaroslav Bozhko, spokesperson of The Yellow Ribbon Civil Resistance Movement, Sakharov Prize Laureate 2022 and Oleksandra Matviychuk, human rights lawyer and Chair of the Centre for Civil Liberties, Sakharov Prize Laureate 2022.
This discussion is followed by a short reception at 12:00.
