Dr Alex Grech is organising an event titled 'A Conversation with Joe Toscano' at Studio B of Spazju Kreattiv, Valletta on 5 October 2023, commencing at 19:00 (Malta time).

Joe Toscano is a US award-winning designer, published author and international keynote speaker and features regularly on US media outlets as a technology expert. Previously an Experience Design consultant for Google. Joe left Silicon Valley because of concerns about industry misuses of data and the need to address these through innovation rather than strict regulation. Since then, Joe has written a book, done a TEDx talk, featured in the Netflix film ‘The Social Dilemma’ and started up companies. Joe remains focused on: human-centered approaches to designing the internet; user privacy; digital literacy; data protection; and better conversations on data rights as human rights. His latest venture is Datagrade.
