Through the DegreePlus Programme whereby the University of Malta aims at the personal growth and development of its students and staff, a number of languages are already on offer.
As from the current academic year, a study-unit on Romanian language is also being offered. The idea of introducing Romanian language was realised through the support of Prof. Lino Bianco – a full-time resident academic and Malta’s ambassador to Romania – who read it as a milestone to mark the 55th anniversary since Malta and Romania established diplomatic relations.
This occasion is also being remembered by the Embassy of Romania in Italy in collaboration with DACIN SARA Association and the National Cinema Center from Bucharest, and in partnership with Spazju Kreattiv Theatre under the patronage of the Ministry for the National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government.
They are organising the Romanian Film Days 2023 in Malta which will held at Spazju Kreattiv in Valletta, from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 of October .
