Workshop on Moxibustion, Warm needling & Paper cutting
The University Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine is organizing a workshop centered around the theme of moxibustion and papercutting in celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year of the Dragon. The Spring Festival Workshop will be held on Thursday 1 February at 15:00 - 17:00.
The main participants of the workshop will be the students following the current M.TCM course of studies along with representatives of the media and the Confucius Institute. The workshop aims to provide participants with valuable insights into the traditional Chinese practice of moxibustion, highlighting its significance in promoting health and well-being. Through this event, we hope to foster a deeper understanding of Chinese traditional medicine practices among our students and the public. During the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the history of moxibustion, its various techniques, and its application in enhancing overall health. There will also be a session addressing paper cutting.

- 15:20 - 15:40: Practical demonstration of moxibustion including warm needling: demonstrator TCM Dr Wang Yimeng
- 15:40 - 16:10: Hands-on-practice by attendees
- 16:10 - 16:30: Warm needling competition for attendees
- 16:30 - 17:00: Paper cutting demonstration and practice
