To commemorate the 20th anniversary of EU membership, the Institute for European Studies will be holding an exhibition at the Valletta Campus from 22 April until 3 May. The exhibition will cover the pre-accession period, the negotiations as well as important post-membership events, including when Malta adopted the euro in 2008 and the 2017 presidency of the Council of the EU.

From 6 May the exhibition will be hosted by the Main Library at University, for one week, and will then proceed to be hosted across Malta and Gozo in various libraries and school foyers. The aim of the exhibition is to raise awareness of Malta's membership of the European Union as well as the future of Malta-EU relations.
