The upcoming Quantum Communications Summer School at the University of Malta's Msida Campus, will be taking place from Monday 22 July to Friday 26 July 2024.
This event promises an exceptional opportunity for attendees to gain in-depth knowledge and practical experience in the field of quantum communications.
- Price: €100 (fee waiver available for full-time students and PRISM EuroQCI Consortium Members).
The summer school is designed to accommodate both students and working professionals, with sessions held in the afternoon. Attendees will benefit from a blend of two-hour lectures and two-hour practical sessions, guided by esteemed academics and industry professionals. The topics covered will include:
- Quantum mechanics
- QKD (Quantum Key Distribution) protocols
- Error correction
- QKD beyond point-to-point networks
We will also be providing refreshments between sessions each day. At the end of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance, acknowledging their commitment and learning.
