Hosted by Dr Annette Klinkert (city2science and COLOURS Alliance) and Dr Edward Duca (Science in the City and Senior Lecturer at the University of Malta), the programme will explore three key aspects of both formal and informal education:
- Harnessing the potential of artistic embodied approaches: How does creativity manifest differently between the sciences and the arts, and how can we harness it? Keynote speaker: Prof. Isabelle Gatt, Associate Professor at the Department of Arts, Open Communities, and Adult Education, Faculty of Education, University of Malta;
- Social entrepreneurship: How can we integrate social entrepreneurship in University and training curricula for real-world impacts? Keynote speaker: Thorsten Jahnke, CEO and founder of Social Impact Gmbh;

Keynote speaker: Dr Lindsay Hetherington, Associate Professor of Science Education and Co-Director of the Centre for Research in STEM Education at the University of Exeter.
The Conference will also launch a two-week long art & activism exhibition ‘CONNECT - Communities for Change’ curated by the University of Malta in collaboration with the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL).
