This lecture will be delivered by Mr Andrew Debono Cauchi . Andrew is currently a Research Support Officer within Project CITADEL at the University of Malta, while reading for a second M.A. in English (Literary Studies) at the same university.
He holds a B.A. (Honours) in Classics with Philosophy, from the University of Malta, and an M.A. in Classics and Ancient Civilisations, from Leiden University.
His research interests include classical reception in English literature, ancient philosophy (particularly Plato and Aristotle), and the link between creativity and academia. Andrew is also a published poet, and his Maltese poetry collection Ħlief Memorji u Dellijiet (But Memories and Shadows) was short-listed for the National Book Prize 2020.
