The session is titled: Reading the Archive: Manuscripts and Digital Libraries, and will feature two talks: Dr Paul March-Russell’s ‘Crash: A Suitable Case for Archival Treatment?’ and Dr Bonello Rutter Giappone and Dr Vella’s talk ‘Browsing Libraries in Digital Games’.
Their presentation will explore representations of libraries in digital games, discussing their implied cultural meanings as they emerge in the intersection between media. Dr Bonello Rutter Giappone and Dr Vella identify key themes and discuss several examples for what they reveal about attitudes towards libraries in relation to the digital.
