Ripped Genes

Performers Marjann Attard and Sean Briffa and researcher Dr Emma Clarke (UM) present Eugene, who brings young audiences up to speed on the nuances of genetics and DNA combinations. By helping Eugene understand what his face should look like, using his family tree to make the connections, children get to understand how they get to have brown eyes over blue or dark skin over fair. More importantly, how our DNA makes us so similar and yet so unique.
Hunting the Higgs

The Large Hadron Collider is the world’s largest and most powerful machine. Join Dr Sam Gregson and Prof. Ing. Gianluca Valentino (UM), two researchers who have worked at CERN, to become a particle physicist and see if you have what it takes to control the Large Hadron Collider. Expect games, hilarious jokes and loud explosions. This is no place for the faint of heart!
