We Are What We Eat
The effect of the Mediterranean diet on our Health
We’ve all heard the saying 'You are what you eat'. The daily food we choose affects not just our health and figure, but also our mood, our brain performance and behaviour.
It is well-known that an unbalanced diet increases the risk of diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer.
If you wish to know about the effects of the Mediterranean diet on one’s health you are invited to join the 'We are what we eat' programme that will be held from 8 to 12 October 2018.
Participants attending this short programme, will be able to gather more information regarding the relationship between food and health and how one’s choices can lead to better health and a longer life. Experts in the field of Medicine and talented Chefs will be present to give out talks regarding the matter.
The programme will consist of short talks during the first days regarding the effects of food on the brain and heart together with a cookery session with the Master Chefs students on the third day.
