The JC Diversity committee organised an Autism Awareness activity on Monday 27 March 2023 to inform and to raise awareness about the experiences of autistic persons and how we can understand them better especially within the JC Community.
The activity was carried out on the occasion of International Autism Awareness Day which falls on 2 April. Speakers from the Autism Parents Association, the Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disability and from the Service Dogs Malta Foundation participated in the activity. Dr Olivia Galea Seychell, JC Psychology Senior Lecturer also gave her contribution.
