This session intends to look at how to cultivate resilience by analyzing the different levels of well-being (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual). It also examines the warning signs that indicate your resilience is waning and provides strategies to help you cope when dealing with difficult situations.
Karen teaches Biology at the Junior College and is involved in educators’ training at the University of Malta. She is currently researching transformative notions of education as part of her PhD. Karen is an advocate for disability issues and women's issues through her work with various NGOs working in these sectors whilst also being involved in consultations for entities and organizations regarding education and inclusion. She has a special interest in resilience as the basis of growth.
