This year, the Professional Development Committee has partnered with the Digital Education Committee to organise the Junior College annual seminar. The event is scheduled for 4 June 2024 at The Notch Conference Centre in San Gwann. This year's seminar, titled AI in Education: Opportunities and Challenges, promises insightful discussions and engaging activities.
Dr Omar Seguna (EO Digital Literacy) and Mr Andre Bugeja (Digital Literacy Support Teacher), will present the topic of Artificial Intelligence and its utilisation in educational practices. Following their presentation, there will be an interactive discussion aimed at exploring the implications of these practices.
The seminar will also feature AI experiential presentations, hands-on sessions, and an AI related team building activity, offering attendees practical experience in applying AI concepts . At around 01:15, a buffet lunch will be served at the venue's restaurant.
Online registrations are currently open until 26 May 2024. The registration fee for the entire event, including a welcome coffee, a coffee break, and lunch, is €55. Payment can be made securely online, and a receipt will be automatically emailed upon completion.
