Atelier '23
The Atelier Summer Art Workshop Series 2024 concluded with a vibrant graduation ceremony, celebrating the creativity and growth of its participants. Hosted at our Art Hub, the event brought together students, their guardians, and their mentor, Ms Julia Gauci for an evening filled with a great sense of accomplishment after another very successful summer. The workshop series, known for fostering artistic exploration across various genres, ran over twelve weeks and attracted both aspiring and seasoned student-artists. Participants delved into the fundamentals of drawing and painting, guided by their mentor who emphasised both technical skills and creative expression.
Throughout the program, students were encouraged to push the boundaries and grow in their specific areas. At the graduation, each participant displayed their final work, showcasing the skills they honed over the summer. The diversity of content and techniques on display reflected the inclusive and vast nature of the Atelier. Instructors gave closing remarks, praising the dedication and enthusiasm of the students, while participants expressed gratitude for the community of like-minded creatives they had found.
The Atelier Summer Art Workshop Series 2024 graduation was a fitting conclusion to a program that not only nurtured artistic talent but also built lasting connections within the art students community.
Biology Summer Camp
On Friday, 20 September 2024, the Junior College hosted a heartwarming certificate presentation ceremony for students who attended the Biology summer camp. The event celebrated the dedication and enthusiasm of young biologists who spent their summer deepening their understanding of the natural world. Biology lecturers praised the students for their hard work and curiosity, highlighting the importance of such programs in fostering a love for science. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates, marking a memorable end to a summer filled with learning and discovery.
