On the 30th October, the European Parliament Liaison Office, in collaboration with CORE Platform and Junior Chamber International, will bring together Maltese MEPs, stakeholders and together.eu volunteers to discuss the transition from being a candidate in the last elections to becoming an MEP again, or for the first time.
President Roberta Metsola will deliver the opening speech to the morning event.
She will be followed by a reverse panel of young people and volunteers who will reflect on what democracy and active citizenship mean for them and the obstacles and struggles that they face, with MEPs being given the space to react at the end.
In a final round, the last panel will focus on the work and responsibilities being undertaken by our representatives in Brussels where the audience will also be invited to engage.
The event will take place at Floriani Hall, Excelsior at 8.30. Book your place to make your voice heard from the beginning of this five-year term:
A light reception will follow.
