JC Alumna Tenishia Thornton and Second-Year JC Student Athlete Kayden Lagana have been nominated for the People’s Choice Award category of the 65th edition of the Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali.

The People’s Choice Award will be decided entirely through SMS voting. Voting will be accepted until noon on 1 March 2025.

Vote for Kayden Lagana (bowling) by sending an SMS to 5061 5038 and for Tenishia Thornton (weightlifting) by sending an SMS to 5061 5040.

The public is welcome to send multiple SMS votes. Each SMS costs €0.58, inclusive of VAT.

The final ceremony of the Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali will be held on Saturday 1 March 2025, at the Westin Dragonara Hotel in St Julian’s. The event will be broadcast live on TVMSport+ and across the Malta Sports Journalists Association’s social media channels.
