On 7 March 2025, the Junior College organised an Open Day, giving the public and prospective students the chance to experience College life and learn about the subjects and Study Programmes offered, helping them to make an informed decision about which post-secondary school to choose following their secondary education.
During the event, the Principal held a meeting at the Auditorium where attendees were given an overview of the Junior College experience in preparation for the 2025/26 academic year. Throughout the evening, visitors could take guided library tours and attend various departmental presentations and activities. Visitors could tour the College, including the chemistry, biology, physics, and home economics laboratories, and had the opportunity to explore various student facilities such as the football grounds and relaxation areas. A number of stalls were set up across the College, including those from small businesses created by students themselves as part of the JA Mini-Company Programme. Members of the Student Advisory Services were also present to answer any questions.
The Junior College would like to thank all the staff and students who participated and contributed in making this year’s Open Day a great success.
