Bianca Naomi Shoemake, a first year student at Junior College, has been nominated as the Athlete of the Year for Hammer Throws. This followed a series of achievements throughout the year where she improved her personal best in the hammer throw from 50.27m to 58.51m. She represented Malta in the U18 European Championships as well as in the U18 Balkan Championships and the ISF competition in Bahrain.
