Three chemistry postgraduate students attended the 16th BCA/CCG Intensive Teaching School in X-ray Structure Analysis, Durham, UK, held between between 25 March and 2 April 2017.
Duncan Micallef, Marie Christine Scicluna and Luke Frendo attended the annual school, after being awarded a scholarship to cover part of their costs by the organisers, and were also supported by a Department of Chemistry scheme. Their joint presentation was judged to be the best presentation by a panel of expert judges.
The three students are part of the Crystal Engineering Research Group run by Dr Liana Vella-Zarb and Dr Ulrich Baisch.
