Professor Peter Mayo of the Department of Arts, Open Communities and Adult Education, Faculty of Education at UM, was invited speaker at a symposium on  'Dialogic Reflexivity in Education' organised by Das Kollektiv in Linz, Austria on Friday 25 May.

Das Kollektiv is an organisation involved in educational projects with migrant women. The other invited speaker was Dr Alisha Heinemann from the University of Vienna.

The title of Professor Mayo's talk was 'Migration, Racism and Education in the Mediterranean. A Gramscian-Freirean Perspective.'
