Professor Matthew Montebello has been invited to deliver a keynote address at the opening of the yearly international conference held at the University of Zululand in South Africa. The Conference was held during the second week of October 2018.

During the conference Professor Montebello discussed the rising importance of Artificial Intelligence within the e-learning realm as other technologies like crowdsourcing are further contributing to innovative online learning platforms.
Professor Montebello is a member of the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of ICT and has recently returned from a two-year sabbatical at the University of Illinois in USA where he has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor.
