On 23 October 2018, Professor Angela Abela, from the Department of Family Studies, Faculty for Social Wellbeing was invited to participate in the opening session of a high-level conference on Parenting, Child Wellbeing and Development organised by the Doha International Family Institute with Unicef as the main partners. The opening session was broadcasted on Al Jazeera.
Earlier on she was also invited by the Family Studies Institute at St Cyril and Methodius University in Macedonia to lecture and discuss future collaboration between the Department of Family Studies and the Institute.
