Medical University of Plovdiv and University Hospital ‘St George’ (Plovdiv) has invited George Gregory Buttigieg as Visiting Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as from this current academic year. He has just returned from Bulgaria following the delivery of his first cycle of lectures to under- and post-graduate students. He also lectured on the latest medico-legal concepts related to Cerebral Palsy and CTG monitoring at the University Hospital ‘St George’ which hosts a major Cerebral Palsy referral unit.
Buttigieg has lectured to medical students at the University of Malta since 1986 and was a founding member of the Maltese College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
