On 20 November, the Centre for the Study and Practice of Conflict Resolution hosted a public lecture delivered by Dr Julie R Shedd, Deputy Dean of the School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution.

Dr Shedd examined the relationship between Media and Terrorism, including issues of framing, labelling, as well as media engagement with conflict resolution practitioners.

Following Dr Shedd's presentation, Dr Valentina Cassar (Head of the Department of International Relations at the University of Malta) acted as discussant. The lecture concluded with a vigorous Question and Answer session.
