Dr JosAnn Cutajar was invited as a visiting scholar to give some lectures at the Department for Social Sciences, School for Sociology and Gender Studies at the Mid Sweden University in Sweden.

While she was there she met with academics who teach within this institution and discussed how the P.h.D system works at this university. She also delivered a lecture attended by Ph.D. students and academics entitled Feminist Epistemologies at Work.

The next day she held a workshop with Ph.D. students, where students explored how they could incorporate reflexivity and advocacy in their work.
