Professor Briguglio just published a chapter in a book entitled Le droit de la concurrence en Polynésie Française et dans les peitite economies insulaires du Pacifique.
The article by Prof. Briguglio, Droit de la concurrence dans les petites juridictions, explains the competition constraints faced by small states due to their small domestic market where a single firm can dominate the market with ease and where collusion between firms is commonplace.
The article also deals with the problem of enforcement in small states, and stresses the need for what is known as advocacy, so as to foster an interest in and an appreciation of fair trading.
