Professor Alan Crossman, Emeritus Professor of Anatomy at the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Manchester, has been invited as a visiting professor at the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. Professor Crossman is the author of several key publications related to movement disorders, particularly Parkinson’s disease. He is also the author of the main neuroanatomy textbook used by medical students: ‘Illustrated Neuroanatomy'. Professor Crossman delivered lectures on neuroanatomy to first and second year medical students between the 1 and 5 April 2019.
