A group of staff from the University of Split (Croatia) and the University of Cadiz (Spain), visited the University of Malta from 10 to 14 June. During their visit, one was given the opportunity to discuss and experience the range of library services on offer around the University of Malta Msida campus.
A series of familiarisation and information visits were organised throughout the various departments of the University Library. Furthermore, several accompanying visits to branch libraries at UM, the National Library, the Central Public Library and the National Archives were also organised. All these visits were financially supported by the Erasmus+ fund for university administrative staff.
Furthermore, the University of Split and the University of Cadiz have collectively joined the University of Malta and a further three universities, to bid as a consortium for the label of a 'European University', with results expected by late June.
