The Movember movement began in 2003 in Australia when a group of young people grew their moustaches to support a friend of theirs to support prostate cancer. From there, the movement spread to many other countries.
This November, the Marketing, Communications & Alumni Office encouraged a number of Deans at University and Junior College to let their moustaches grow free throughout the month and raise awareness about the Movember cause – men’s health.
