Another bite-sized concert from the University of Malta's Department of Music Studies brings us to this violin performance of Dance of the Knights from the ballet, Romeo and Juliet.
It is being performed by UM student, Chelsea Xuereb, who is accompanied on the piano by Maria Elena Farrugia.
Chelsea Xuereb is a Maltese violinist finishing her Music Undergraduate Degree in Violin Performance at the University of Malta. She is currently under the mentorship of the violinist Natalia Lauria (Filipenko), a member of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. Chelsea has performed in various concerts of music pertaining to many different genres, ranging from classical to cinematic, to rock, pop, musical theatre, and sacred music. She has proudly recorded music with emerging local artists and has also taken part in charitable events.
