Greek journalist Maria Sarafoglou’s special report on Ant1, a Greek TV channel, investigates the current state of videogames and the potential applications of Artificial Intelligence.
As part of this news feature, she interviews Prof. Georgios Yannakakis from the Institute of Digital Games (IDG) and co-founded or modl.ai, where he sheds light on personalised content generation, human-computer interaction, and player modelling.
She also interviews Stelios Avramidis, an IDG alumnus whose career in gaming sees him working on the Total War series and who has also worked for Sony, Microsoft, and Blackbird Interactive. Avramidis highlights his experience in the videogame industry, some standard practices and important aspects of what it takes to ultimately produce a video game.
