Despite the COVID-19 restrictions, the Faculty for Social Wellbeing was pleased to welcome all freshers starting a course within this Faculty on Friday 1 October 2021.
Two sessions were held in the morning for undergraduates’ first year students whilst another session was held in the afternoon for postgraduates’ students.
All three sessions were held at the University of Malta Valletta Campus.
The well-attended sessions were mostly a film-forum, where students were able to watch the movie ‘The Limestone Cowboy’ with the possibility to discuss issues related to social wellbeing areas that emerged during the movie.
For each session, a panel of academics moderated by local journalists were present to facilitate the discussion.
