Following the handover of a scarce and invaluable Carl Linnaeus’ ‘Systema Naturae’ book set, dated 1789, to the University Library, ABGRC further uncovered a number of handwritten and printed manuscripts dating from 1843 to 1932. These works pertained to, amongst others, Professor J. Borg, P. Borg, Alfredo Caruano Gatto and Gavino Gulia. Other than the handwritten scientific documents, handwritten notes were also present on printed versions. More noteworthy is a personal note by Gavino Gulia, dated 1890, which contradicts other records that indicate that he died in 1889.
