During the past weeks, the newly set Student Recruitment Office at UM has organised nine webinars for international applicants. The webinars were well attended by international prospective students reaching a total of 500 participants. The intention of these webinars is to kindle the applicants' interest in our institution by answering their questions about the admissions process and the student experience in Malta. 

These webinars complement the strategic marketing initiatives that the Marketing, Communications & Alumni Office (MCAO) is currently conducting both in Malta and overseas. In the coming weeks, a number of webinars are planned to follow up with both the students who have shown an interested in applying as well as the applicants that have been accepted.

"Essentially, the Student Recruitment Office is adopting a one-stop approach by providing the necessary information related to the pre- and post-admission process up to the point of enrollment. These efforts are constantly being supported by the help of the International Office, Finance Office and Admissions and Records Office", said Dr Mario Cassar, Deputy Director at MCAO.

"The collaboration with our Faculties, Institutes, Centres and Schools (FICS) has also been pivotal in this regard and initial indications predict positive outcomes in terms of issuing of acceptance letters and payment of assurance deposits," highlighted Dr Cassar.
