Held annually, the European Summer School for Advanced Management (ESSAM) is an intensive credited two-week programme selectively aimed at only the higher-achieving executive students from the respective MBA cohorts of member universities’ business schools – all subscribing to multiple quality accreditation (AACSB, AMBA, Equis). Offering specialist electives as well as a real consulting project, the international ESSAM programme drew participants from as wide afar as Australia, Canada and South Africa; besides Europe.
Dr Said, Dr Massa and Dr Schembri were invited to teach a class and deliver a session, incorporating a facilitated case study on intrapreneurship and enhancing employees’ entrepreneurial and innovation propensity in corporate contexts. Seminars were conducted on University of Glasgow campuses in Glasgow, Dumfries in the south of Scotland, as well as off-site at Loch Lomond. The Maltese academics held discussions with the Adam Smith Business School on future collaboration between the two institutions.
