In early December the Faculty of Laws held the Dean's Awards, in which some of the Faculty' s best students delivered presentations related to their dissertations, and prizes were given out to the students who in academic year 2021-22 came first overall in the LL.B. Hons course , in the M.Adv. course and in the M.Not. course.

These three prizes were sponsored by UM Chancellor Prof. David Attard (who donates the royalties of one of his books to the Faculty of Laws, to use for this purpose).

Another prize was awarded for academic excellence in the M.A. Financial Services course (sponsored by Dr Jean-Pie' Gauci Maistre on behalf of his law firm), while yet another prize was awarded to the student who presented the best dissertation on a maritime law - related subject (sponsored by the Malta Maritime Forum).

The Faculty of Laws once again congratulates the students on their achievements and thanks the sponsors for their continuous support.
