A group of European researchers representing over 30 countries has over the past four years explored the economic, social, geographical, planning, and legal aspects of optimising the allocation of costs and benefits in urban settings. The project used theoretical knowledge to provide policy recommendations for local and regional societies faced with increasing property values and distributive justice dilemmas.
