The University of Malta Rector, Prof. Alfred J. Vella welcomed members of the UM Futsal team to the Rectorate office to congratulate them on their achievements on behalf of the University.

As recently reported, the UM Futsal team managed to win the title of National Futsal Trophy Champions for the 2nd time in a row after beating Luxol with a score of 3-2 on the 12 May 2023.

The Rector was presented with an official winning medal by the team's President, Mr Andrea Varrazzo. 

Pleased with the results, Prof. Vella further congratulated the team for the future and for making our University proud of their successes!
